Finding the Cheapest Cell Phone Plan

By

As technology grows, so do the competition. When it comes to the world of cell phones, the competition couldn't be any hotter. Each company tries to outdo itself in two different categories, hottest cell phone and cheap cell phone plans. They know that in order to stay up with the competition, they have to keep the consumers interest current and fresh by adding the latest in cell phone technology, combining with the cheapest cell phone plans. I could tell you from experience what I've been though with certain cell phone companies and can tell you if they are worth the hassle of even looking at their product or not.

My first cell phone was a Sprint phone. Where other cell phones were strict on credit check, Sprint was very lenient about the whole situation. Their selection of cell phone throughout the years were great and the customer service was easy to deal with as well. Heed the word I've said "was", as in I don't deal with Sprint anymore. From what I saw was that I being charged for fees that was really over the top. When I tried to see about getting them reversed, the customer service rep then went sour and said that it was impossible. Not to mention that Sprint wasn't even covering parts of the United States. So what was I paying Sprint monthly for? Then when I go the cancel, they charged an arm and a leg just to cancel my account. That was the final straw for me. So I've went to switch for another provider and that company was...

Verizon Wireless, I've received through my company but even if I didn't, Verizon would've been my next choice because of two things. One was the fact that phones who were with Verizon had access anywhere in the U.S. Also, their attractive cell phone family plans. For families out there who have members that like to use the cell phone a lot, Verizon's family plans makes it easier for you financially. I'm not saying that Verizon is perfect, but it's as perfect as it gets. Their phone selection is top notch and their customer service both in and out the cell phone shop is friendly and helpful.

I can't speak for the other cell phone companies such as T-Mobile and AT&T because personally I've never dealt with them, but I'll try my best to explain the two of what know and what I do know is that they require a credit check and for those of you who have bad credit, don't even waste your time trying to get a phone from them. Sure, the Apple iPhone is available at AT&T, but not only is their service (allegedly) is not the best at all, but Verizon is coming out with their version of the iPhone so people can go and get this remarkable, yet overrated cell phone.

I would admit that T-Mobile does actually have a family plan that rivals Verizon. But what makes them fall just a little flat is that once again, Verizon's signals when using your phone is much stronger than a T-Mobile phone. Metro PCS is the little guy out of the bunch. They've tried their best to compete due to the very attractive plans that they have available. To an extent, Metro PCS's plan is much cheaper but the selections of their phones are very limited. Not only that but their signals are really bad. I've tried Metro PCS once and had to cancel it within a week. Calls that I could make with my Verizon phone, I couldn't make with Metro.

In the end, the best choice of cell phone provider would be Verizon out of the rest because of it's selection of cell phones to choose from, their ability to make calls available throughout the United States, their basic and family plans plus their reasonable and outstanding customer service. Been with them for more than 6 years and I have little to no complaints about them.
