How To Put Music Onto You Coby Kyros (MID7015)
By triplehsd
For those of you who have purchased the Coby Kyros Internet Tablet recently have found it difficult to put music onto the device. Not even the instruction manual would tell you have to do it. So I've had to do my own research and figured it out myself. To those who are frustrated by this, after my step by step instructions you will not be upset at all.
First, switch your Kyros on if it's not on already. Once you have it on, then attach it to your PC/laptop/netbook. Your Kyros will recognize the system and will tell you on the upper left had corner. It's going to say 'USB Debugger Connected'. Now go and drag the screen where you see the USB sign on the upper left hand corner down and you will see USB Connected (Internal). If you have an SD Card inside your Kyros, there will be another one saying USB Connected (External) Press on the (Internal) one and another screen will show up asking you if you want to copy files between your computer and your device's SD card. You have two options in front of you, 'Mount' and 'Don't Mount'. Press Mount and then turn your focus onto your computer. Go to my computer and you'll see another Removable Disk sign. That's your hard drive from the Kyros.
Double-click that and you'll be on a screen with a couple of folders. Double-click the 'Download' folder and you'll see that's where all of your Apps have been save on. Check your computer to see which mp3 you want to put onto your Kyros and drag them into the 'Download' folder. Hopefully you already have music available on your computer for you to do so. Then detach your Kyros from your computer, wait a few seconds and press the Home button on top to return to the main page on your Kyros. Press your 'Music' logo and you'll see that your music is there, ready to be played.
If I find any more ways on how to do this, I will update as soon as possible but for now this is the way that I've been doing it and to no problems at all.

this method did not work for me. i have my apps in the downloaded folder, and i dragged and dropped my music files into that folder, but it did not show up after i ejected the tablet from the computer. if you possibly have another solution for this could you give me and email at sotto@student.montcalm.edu
thank you
This might help...when I opened the Kyros drive on my computer, I added a folder and named it Music. I then dragged the mp3s I wanted to transfer into that folder. After I removed the tablet from my computer, I pressed the music logo and then the songs tab. My songs were there.
this method did NOT work for me......I also tried adding a folder named Music and Gallery but no songs or pictures were found on the Kyros. I have yet to try uploading to a sd card. Anyone else have an answer?
