How Reward Cards Can Save Your Shopping Experience

You're at a store and you're ready to pay up for everything you've brought. Then the cashier will ask you if you have their rewards card. You say no, so they ask you if you would like one. You say no again. What?! Saying no will be one of the biggest mistakes of your shopping experience and you will soon  regret it once you leave the store. 

When it comes to going shopping, a few things are a must when doing so. You must have your money or credit/debit card. You will also need the sales circular and your coupon book just so you would know what to save on and for which items are on sale. Finally, and this is one of the most important part, you must have the store's reward card. I know some of you think it's annoying when someone ask you if you would like to sign up when all you want to do is buy and leave. Get your crankiness out of the gutter and let them provide you with one of their cards. 

Just a reminder, with all stores, rewards cards are free and they don't call them rewards cards for nothing because these cards actually reward you. For starters, in order for you to get an item for the sale price that it's on in the circular, you'll have to have the rewards card. So it's definitely a must to have. But each card has it's own perks in addition to saving money on items.  For example let's take Pathmark's card to see what it does. When you buy something, each time you spend, it adds up to your card. When a promotion comes up, let's say 'For Every $100 Spend, You'll Receive A Free Turkey!!' The next time you purchase something and when the card detects that you've reached the $100 mark, you are entitled to that promotion, guarantee. 

Let's check on a store such as CVS. Their rewards cards have many of perks besides getting items at the sales price. Each CVS store has it's own coupon checker where everytime you come into the store and self-scan your CVS card, various coupons are printed out. But it doesn't stop there. For every three months, depends on how much you spend at any CVS store, you are presented with an Extrabucks coupon when you make a purchase right on the spot through your receipt which go towards your next purchase. You can have anywhere from $.50 -$20.00. Again, depends on how much you spend. 

Stores like Toys R Us and Best Buy mail you $10 off coupons towards your next purchase with their rewards card. While stores like Rite Aid will present to you $20 off your next purchase once you've reached the $100 spending mark. Every card has a different reward. This is very important to those who do a lot of shopping and would love to save a lot of money and get rewarded with various things. 

So, the next time you go into a store, no matter how much you're in a rush, or how bad your day is, or how loud your baby is crying, sign up for one of their cards because you're going to look back at it and what you thought was a bad experience will actually turn into a great one.
